The Keane slipcover sofa and the Henderson coffee table are two pieces featured in the newly-launched collection from Amber Lewis for Anthropologie.
PHILADELPHIA – Anthropologie has partnered with California designer Amber Lewis on a new 40-piece collection for fall 2020. Lewis said the pieces showcase a laid-back aesthetic inspired by her love for bringing together textiles, textures and layering.
“Anthropologie’s aesthetic has always resonated with my personal style. I’ve always appreciated the collected, bohemian vibe, and it’s something I’ve gravitated towards for years,” Lewis said.
“It’s always been nostalgic for me. Collaborating with Anthropologie felt like coming home, this sort of pinch-me moment where I realized I could design a collection that really makes you feel something for the pieces you’re bringing into your life; to create something for everyone,” she added.
Highlights of the collection include the Caillen accent and dining chairs, with upholstered linen-blend seats, open-grained oak frames and leather-wrapped arms; the Keane slipcover sofa that offers a modern, squared silhouette that adds a tailored edge paired with loose cushions; and the Henderson coffee table with a rounded oak top and exposed leg joint work that offers a farmhouse-inspired touch.
Lewis – founder of design firm Amber Interiors, retail store Shoppe Amber Interiors, blog All Sorts Of and author of Made For Living – is a Los Angeles native known for her eclectic, California style.
The new collection spans product categories including furniture, lighting, tabletop and textiles. Retail prices for the furnishings range from $598 for the Henderson bench to $3,998 for the Keane sofa.
