UNION, N.J. – Bed Bath & Beyond is adding four new members to the company’s leadership team.

The new team members include Gustavo Arnal as the new executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). Arnal joins the company following his previous role as group CFO of Avon, prior to which he held senior positions at Walgreens Boots Alliance and Procter & Gamble. Bed Bath & Beyond’s current CFO and treasurer Robyn D’Elia is departing the company.

Rafeh Masood is joining the company as its new executive vice president and chief digital officer. He was most recently senior vice president and chief digital officer at BJ’s Wholesale Club, following earlier positions at Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Sears Holdings.

Gregg Melnick will assume the role of executive vice president and chief stores officer, promoted from his current role as the company’s interim chief digital officer.

Melnick joined Bed Bath & Beyond in 2018 as chief operations officer for digital. Previously, Melnick was president at Party City Holdings.

Arlene Hong is joining the company as the executive vice president, chief legal officer and corporate secretary. Hong was formerly chief legal officer, senior vice president and corporate secretary for FullBeauty Brands. Prior to that, she held a number of senior legal positions at J.Crew and Amazon.

The four new members will join the Bed Bath and Beyond team throughout the month of May, with Arnal starting on May 4, Masood and Melnick starting on May 11, and Hong starting on May 18.
