ICFA taps members for board, executive committee for 2021

HIGH POINT – The International Casual Furnishings Assn. has elected new members to its board of directors and its board, and tapped its executive committee for 2021.

Elected during a virtual membership meeting held Oct. 1, new officers will assume their posts Jan 1.

Harold Hudson, president of Summer Classics Private Label, based in Pelham, Ala., will serve as chairman of the board of directors for 2021 and has also been elected to a three-year term on the board. Steve Elton, chief brand curator of Brown Jordan in St. Augustine, Fla., will serve as vice chairman. Completing the executive committee are Karen Brams, president of Island Living & Patio, West Palm Beach, Fla.; Teresa Buelin, business development and marketing manager, Sattler Outdura, Hudson, N.C.; and Russell Sorenson, president of Hanamint Corp., Las Vegas.

Newly elected to three-year terms on the ICFA board are Mark Bottemiller, Ebel Inc.; Joseph Cilio, Alfresco Home; Grant Henegan, The Fire House Casual Living Store; Greg Martin, Kolo Collection; Erik Mueller, Watson’s; and Jason Siesel, Casual Cushion Corp.

Board members elected to two-year terms are Karen Brams, Island Living & Patio; Mark Cannon, Mark Cannon; Candy Chase, Treasure Garden; Steve Elton, Brown Jordan; Kathleen Ferry, Woodline Shade Solutions; David Jacobs, Jacobs Custom Living; Brian Lawrence, Emigh’s Outdoor Living; Mary Beth Singleton, Tropic Aire Patio; Patrick Troy, Tuuci; and Henry Vanderminden IV, Telescope Casual Furniture.

Brams, who was elected to the executive committee, will also be serving a two-year term, alongside Elton, 2021 vice chairman.

Board members serving one-year terms are Philip Bouton, Kannoa; Teresa Buelin, Sattler Outdura; Bruce Erickson, Summer Classics Home; Richard Frinier, Richard Frinier Design Studio; Kristine Schultz-Hutchinson, Patios Plus; Warren Juliano, Lloyd Flanders; Megan Pierson, Polywood; Doug Sanicola, Outdoor Elegance; Elaine Smith, Elaine Smith, Inc.; Andy Sokol, Outdoor by Ashley; Ward Usmar, Pavilion; and Garrett Wallace, Yard Art Patio and Fireplace.

Buelin and Sorenson, both members of the executive committee, are also serving one-year terms.
