The Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts India announced that the IHGF Virtual Textiles Fair will take place June 15-18.
DELHI, India — The Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts India announced that this year’s IHGF Delhi Fair will be held virtually as the IHGF Textiles Virtual Fair June 15-18.
Officials say products showcased during the exhibition will include a range of soft goods for bedding, kitchens and bathrooms; wall décor including tapestries; draperies; area rugs and throws; upholstery fabrics, including hand-loomed, jacquard and power-loomed fabrics; wall and ceiling coverings; hammocks; trimmings and more. Featured techniques include appliqué, tie-dye, hand block printing, embroidery, sari craft, quilting, flocking, patchwork, mirror and bead work, lacework, and trims and tassels, among others.
A number of sustainable products, including cotton and wool, jute, cane, bamboo and recyclable components will also play a prominent role in the proceedings.
The fair, which has been a mainstay for more than 25 years, draws buyers from across North America, South America, Asia and Europe.
