ATLANTA / HIGH POINT / LAS VEGAS — International Market Centers will share its health and safety protocols for its summer markets in a webinar outlining its Together Safely Master Plan. The webinar is set for Wednesday, June 17 at 1 p.m. ET.
“As we reopen our campuses and resume our markets in the current environment, it is paramount that everyone — buyers, sellers and staff — fully understand the new protocols and commit to following them,” said Bob Maricich, IMC CEO.
The hour-long webinar will address the on-site experience including contactless registration procedures, required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for all market participants and staff, expanded sanitization policies and the implementation of social distancing and traffic control measures.
The webinar will feature guest speaker Dr. Carlos del Rio, chair of the Hubert Department of Global Health at the Rollins School of Public Health of Emory University. Also part of the discussion from IMC will be Executive Vice President, Operations Greg Avitabile; Senior Vice President, Marketing Karen Olson; General Counsel and Assistant Secretary Neal Patton; and Vice President Convention Sales & Housing Bob Schuler.

The Together Safely Master Plan was created by IMC staff using guidance issued by the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, government leaders, industry groups and other experts. Plans and protocols were vetted by Dr. del Rio and state and municipal officials.
