HOLMDEL, N.J. – A newly launched designer collaboration, called Your Home Collaboration, launched today to thank front-line medical professionals responding to COVID-19 for their work with free home design consultations.

Interior designer Anna Maria Mannarino, a past president of the New Jersey chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers, came up with the new project after working with home furnishings manufacturers and local and state officials to provide personal protective equipment to hospitals in her community.

To take part in the program, medical professionals from any part of the country must nominate themselves or be nominated by someone else through this form.

Currently, in addition to recruiting participants, Your Home Collaboration is also looking to find interior designers nationwide who would be willing to donate consultations. The consultations, which can take place virtually or in-person at a later date, are for one room with a two-hour minimum. To apply to volunteer your design services, click here.

“During these unprecedented times, it’s important that we are all doing what we can to say thank you to those who are on the front lines of the pandemic,” said Mannarino.  “We know that design impacts lives, and good design enhances the human experience. I’m calling on all my friends and colleagues in the design community to donate a One Room Consultation to these heroes.”

Vendors are also being encouraged by Your Home Collaboration to donate their product and services. Paint resource Sherwin-Williams has already agreed to participate in the program. To learn more about vendor donation opportunities, click here.
