NEW YORK – The New York Design Center, a home furnishings resource center, has moved its latest catalog online, making the full publication interactive for viewers.

Published as part of its What’s New, What’s Next event, which was moved to a new, virtual format earlier this month, the new catalog includes more than 350 designs debuting during WNWN, from the more than 500 lines of residential and contract furniture, fabric, floor covers, lighting, wall coverings, kitchen and bath, and accessories represented in the center’s nearly 100 showrooms.

“200 Lex has always served as New York’s destination for design, and with the launch of the Digital Product Catalog we can expand our footprint to reach a global design community,” said Jim Druckman, president and CEO of NYDC. “As the demand for additional access and virtual shopping experiences continues to grow, this investment in our digital marketplace creates new ways to shop our showrooms, supporting the in-person experience. We’re so proud to unveil this new resource, amidst the twelfth annual What’s New, What’s Next event, allowing designers and consumers alike to continue to access the latest from 200 Lex 24/7 from any device.”

The reformatted catalog connects directly with showroom representatives to make a purchase. Users can also search products by category or showroom and can download tear sheets for more information on specifications including dimensions, materials and pricing. Later this fall, the catalog will be updated to give users the ability to schedule live video chats with showroom representatives, keep an online appointment calendar, create an interactive profile to save favorite product designs and more.
