CORTE MADERA, Calif. – Lifestyle retailer RH has recalled about 270 Industrial three-panel mirrors whose panels can become loose and detach from the backing and fall, posing an injury hazard.

While no injuries have been reported, the company has received six reports of the mirror panels detaching or becoming loose. Consumers have thus been advised to stop using the recalled mirrors immediately and contact RH for a full refund or a credit if the consumer’s purchase price cannot be determined.

The recall involves mirrors from RH’s Industrial Three-Panel Mirror collection. They were sold in two sizes:  24 inches wide by 72 inches high by 1-inch deep (SKU 41100011SILV) and 32 inches wide by 96 inches high by 1-inch deep (SKU 41100015SILV).

The units have three square mirror panels with a distressed appearance. They are adhered to a wooden black backing and are surrounded by an antique-black painted metal frame. The SKU is printed on a sticker on the back of the mirror and on the purchase receipt.

Made in India, they were imported by RH US LLC of Corte Madera, Calif. They were sold at RH stores nationwide and online at from October 2018 through June 2020 for between $190 and $1,500.

For more information, consumers can contact RH toll-free at (877) 580-1160 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. PT Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT Saturday and Sunday. Or email the company as [email protected] or visit and click on the “Safety Recalls” link at the bottom of the page.

I’m Tom Russell and have worked at Furniture/Today since August 2003. Since then, I have covered the international side of the business from a logistics and sourcing standpoint. Since then, I also have visited several furniture trade shows and manufacturing plants in Asia, which has helped me gain perspective about the industry in that part of the world. As I continue covering the import side of the business, I look forward to building on that knowledge base through conversations with industry officials and future overseas plant tours. From time to time, I will file news and other industry perspectives online and, as always, welcome your response to these Web postings.
